I can't seem to add my avatar as its pixel dimensions are too large.
Any advice on getting it reduced?

Hi Archie,

I just typed 'resize jpeg' into google and it came up with a number of sites that you can upload the photo and tell it what pixel size output you want and it will resize it for you.

I can't remember which one I used, but likely the first one that came up www.imresizer.com might have been it.

Then just save the output photo somewhere that you can find it, and upload.
