Hi from Scotland

Post by lurch032004 »

Hi all ,
Thanks for letting me join , I have a growing or appearing set of landrovers 1.-2a-3 all 88” diesels only the 2a in daily use at present .
I tinker on them according to how I am I’m no spring chicken anymore body wise but still as daft if I was 20”s something .
I am a member in other clubs all as lurch032003 so you may it may not know me.
I will try attend meets ect as and when I’m able or somebody drags me out my comfort zone.
Got the bug when I first got ill to give me something to get up and do so my first 1974 88” diesel appeared and was happy if I got a nut and bolt undone then, I have since grown my knowledge of landys and not afraid to tackle any jobs once I read up and watch forum or utube ect videos .
Im not a nut and bolt rivets counter it is and works then im happy .
So that one is at present awaiting to be rebuilt into new chassis maybe this year ? lol im in no rush or race it be done .
So that’s the basics about me hope yo chat or meet you along the road at some point .
Cheers
John
