Hello All , I recently acquired an ex military series 3 88" Commercial logistics variant.
The NATO socket is hanging free and I'd like to make a replacement bracket, trouble is I need to know where it was originally fitted and what it looked like, A previous owner has cut the bracket and also replaced the rear crossmember
I've looked on the Internet for a pic but have so far drawn a blank.
Hopefully someone out there has the same vehicle or a pic of one.

Hi Carlos, here is a photo of the NATO socket on my Series 3 Lightweight.
Basically it is bolted flush to the outside face of the crossmember. There is a sleeve welded between the inner and out faces. The bolts go all the way through to nuts on the inside face.
Your’s is going through the standard crossmember’s power take off hole. The NATO sockyhole is much smaller diameter so does not need a bracket.
In your place I think I would cut a square flat plate to cover the power take off hole. Screw of weld it in place. Then the NATO socket can be mounted in a suitable size hole in the middle of the plate.
But loose the date of your post, I guess you have already sorted something out.

Thanks for the reply, I managed to find a pic of another CL online which shows the bracket, and as I thought it's fitted in the PTO hole.
Bizarrely the pic of the Land Rover I found was only 2 digits on its Army registration than mine.
