Underneath external surfaces coated with Dinitrol
Next Saturday will be the internal cavities and leaf springs with Waxoyl
It was getting quite hot in the hazmat gear haha.

Ideal weather. It'll flow nicely.
While doing domestic tidying during the heatwave I found a roll of reflective foil for use behind central heating radiators. I found another use for it.

Just completed the internal cavities of the chassis treatment, brought the job forward due to having to work on Saturday.
Nicely surprised with the condition of the chassis no bad rust spots , noticed a layer of red lead on it
So pleased to have now treated it with repeat in 2 years time.
Next job is to fit the new rear door I have been working on for a while.
Then back to replacing the front hub bearings and servicing the free wheel hubs.
Really enjoying working on my landy.

Hot hot morning it was here in Wales not so green at the moment.
Fortunately the the barn I was working in is quite large so quite cool.
Completed the offside hub bearing replacement and complete strip down and service of the free wheel hub
Started at 9 and finished 1pm
Took my time and enjoyed it thoroughly.
Next Saturday near side.

Lucky you.
I took one look at my Series 3 in 90F heat and took the dog to the nearby grot pub about 100 yards away.

The river on my way to the proper pub has dried up. My English Springer Spaniel has to do with being watered from a watering can with water from the water butt.
I don't drive to the pub, who wants a driving ban. Tomorrow 12th I've booked a taxi there and back.
